honda 200x info wanted(factory racer)

has anyone ever seen a 200x that was built for a factory racer. I pick one up today and the guy i got it from thats what he told me it was. It doesnt have a head light it has a oil cooler in its place. the year of it is 1986 or 1987. the engine is a little different than any other that ive seen the top half is black and the bottom is not painted. the rear axle is also wider any help would be great thanx
