Ok, so I'm new to the area, and have no idea where to ride. Does anyone know of any good legal riding spots around NoVa? I've been here for 4 months now and haven't seen another three wheeler yet, and I'm beginning to get concerned.

Cheers/ Paul

I used to live in Warrenton for about 12 years. At the time I had a KX125 and had to truck or trailer to other places to ride. I've since moved away (4 years ago) and I'm sure it's gotten worse due to th epopulation increase.

We used to ride in Dumfries off 95. I'm not sure if they have closed that area or not.

Best bet might be finding an ATV/riding club.

Good luck.

Damn...I didn't see you were in stafford.

We used to ride there also. Right off the exit and head into the woods behind the gas station at the bottom of the dip. Some pretty cool "tubes" going under 95. Watch which one you go through as one of them is safe and the other drops off into about 4 ft of water.

I think a few miles south of there at exit 126 maybe, there is a place I always wanted to ride. You can see it from 95.

I've got some friends and a brother that live down that way. One in Warrenton and another in Marshall and another near Front Royal. The guy in FR has a track and I think the guy in marshall may have a small one too. They ride MX on their bikes.

Good luck

I live in Aquia Harbour, and I have seen a lot of trails running up through the power lines all over the place, but I haven't actually seen anyone riding them yet. I'm still feeling out the neighborhood, don't want to go zipping around the streets on the R on my way to the trails until I get a warm and fuzzy from the community.
