What do ya'll think about the yamaha warrior. Is it a nice quad ? Just wondering.

I think the warrior is a pretty good quad, only thing about it is that it is way heavy, but it has very plush ride..Chris

My buddy just bought one for 1K, its an 87. Seems like a good quad, his wont wheelie at all cause it has a longer swinger on it. I agree with OkieRrider, its a very plush ride. Can't compare to the new 450s, but its a fun ride, elctric start and reverse are VERY nice.

Warriors are decent quads, of course there is newer technology out there that doesnt even compare to them, but if its what you are looking for, they are definately great and extremely reliable quads. Im not too sure of the plush ride, they ride good, but not really plush. I dont really care how they sit, it feels like you are sitting down, into the bike with the handlebar positioning, so it doesnt allow for a very aggressive riding style. But a great quad nonetheless.

We have a 199 9 warrior. great bike, no problems at all. I sse it as the cadilac of quads. goes pretty fast but still has a smooth ride. It will tell you when your going ot fast. For general rising, no racing its great. Not the fastes but not bad at all.

I thought I was gonna pick up a warrior a while back, and found that forum. Awesome info there.

i bought a warrior new in '03. i put a slip on pipe, kn filter, jet kit, and full skid protection. this thing was unstoppable. they arent the lightest or quickest quads around, but they can scoot pretty good. you wont be dissapointed.

well they didnt make them that long for nothing, they are a very good quad very reliable. but just like the yamaha sleds, heavy but the longest lasting thing an the trail next to a honda 110.
