This is a small table top I pushed up a few days ago. Its about 30ft from edge to edge of the flat part, not including the ramps. I pushed up a hole for the take off. Its sort of like a little kicker. Gonna be stretching it on out to 40-45ft soon I hope :D Not a whole lot of air but decent distance for a first gear hit.

Hahaha I dunno. I've got one and I'm tempted to try it but if I dont make it to the landing ramp something will break and it might not be the trike heh.

Sounded way reved out. I wana see some of you just ripping around the yard and going through the gears. Think you can do that for me?

Its got a flat place in the upper RPMs that I'm trying to straighten out. The midrange on it is very good right now though. I'm gonna go out in a few and push up some more dirt :D

OK so I worked on it some more and got it lengthened on out. Its about 40ft from crest to crest now although I haven't got the balls to hit the take off ramp fast enough to go all the way yet.

I was hitting it 2nd gear half throttle or so and was coming up short about 5-6ft until the last time. I landed (Kinda abruptly) and I felt the footpeg give away and my foot hit the ground. Luckily I picked it back up before I got snatched under the wheel, but in the process I lost my balance and felt like I was fixing to fall off on that side. I'm not sure if I cranked the bars or what happened, but the next thing I know is the trike went left upside down and I went right and skidded across teh dirt some. Everything is OK with me, scraped up my arms some and I have a sore neck. Z suffered an enlarged crack in the front fender besides the obvios footpeg problem. Time to make some of those IMS pegs fit off of a banshee or something.

Yes Deathman, exactly like that. I'm gonna be buying a banshee set soon and I'll be working on adapting them.

Haha I think every Tri-Z owner will agree that the footpegs must have been an after thought to Yamaha. I'd hate to think they spent more then 5-10 minutes designing them.

Or you could go on a diet!!!:D

Just kidding man. I wish I had the balls to try that stuff but getting old, owning a house and having to pay your bills keeps me slightly mellow. Can't make any $ in the hospital.

Already have. Been doing the Atkins since Christmas and have lost about 50lbs so far. Went from 238-lower 240s to the mid 190s.

I hate to say it, but you are right. The right side peg especially is a very poor design. There is very little metal at the stress point, and then the kickstarter keeps betaing little bites out of it, and its a fairly common problem Used right side foot pegs are hard to find. The good news is that a madman with a welder can really beef it up to where this is not a potential problem. Been there, done that.

Hopefully Billy will have that thing and himself at peak levels at Tirkefest. I can handle getting beat by a young punk as long as he takes out Flyin' Brian with a Yammie!
