man I am pissed. Since I have rebuilt my tecate engine I have ran the motor about 5 times for no more than 5 min. each time just for break in purposes. I havent had the chance to ride it yet because I am waiting on the needle bearing for the swinger pivot. Anyway back to the subject, the new rebuild must be slightly out of time or something because it kicks back so hard (only on the kicks that it doesnt start right away) that I have dented the steel plate in the sole of my work boot and have broken two kicker bosses (part that connects the kicker to the recoil spline). sorry I just had to vent. btw anyone got an extra kicker boss?lol ----Joe 8)

Ouch,
My big red has a pull starter on it and has a decomp. lever that you MUST lift if using the pull starter...Or else the compression builds up ALLOT, and the handle will RIP out of you hand and nuckles and really hurts...I've come close to punching myself from the kickback because i've forgotton to lift the lever :D .

A little off the subject, but my old Husqvarna CR250 has a TERRIBLE kickback too....one day I kicked the basterd over, it ripped my jeans leg, and busted my shin. That was the end of riding that day, pissed me off! Hurt like hell too!
