New guy in need of help....

Well guys going to pick up that 200x, but my question is all this is new to me even being as old as i am but what's the best way to figure them out? and if i have question i will probably be on this board all night long... So whats the best way to make sure everything is right on these machine..obtw i'm really into details and when i do something it has to be right....Terry

Best way is to check the air pressure in all the tires and take it for a spin......if it starts easily, shifts through the gears well, and stops when you want it to then go for it.....you will know when riding if it is not right.....if there are any vibrations anywhere or anything is loose then it may need bearings somewhere....if there is any smoke then there are engine problems......they are not overly complex machines.....Good luck.......:TrikesOwn

Your age does not matter here. If you need help with anything, just ask. We were all new to three wheelers once. I'm 50 and just got my 200x last year. The only thing that I have to be careful not to get too cocky. Sometimes I have to stop myself from riding like a maniac. My 200x will go a lot faster than my Rancher and I get bursts of supidity when I'm riding with my son.

thanks guys....What i'm buying is a 200x that has no back wheels or anything but the motor and tank and front handle bars are there so i really need indepth pictures of the 200x if anyone knows where i can get them...trust me i'm not afraid to ask questions, maybe to many...lol:crazy: But i've always had a thing for the 200x and now i'm getting one....Terry.

It's a 1984 200x...I hope that helps you help me....:lol: plus the guy i'm getting it from has a couple of sheds full of them so i'm hoping to just wipe him out and then turn around and maybe sell something on here to fund my project... but with 6 girls and one boy that maybe rough but i think i can do it....Terry
