Hey Everyone,
After sellling my sportbike this past christmas,, I decided I needed another toy..
I recently bought an '85 200x..Although the bodywork is pretty much mangled, the engine still seems pretty solid...Starts on first pull, has good power throughout every gear..Etc...
Because I don't know the history of this bike I'd like to do a little tune up on it..
1) Where is the oil drain plug on this motor? (Brutal Question, I know)
2) What type of oil do you recommend for these motors?
3) How do I go about cleaning the carbs, and is it easy enough for a rookie to do?
4) And finally, I have an stock Suzuki GSXR (Streetbike) muffler kicking around, would it be a bad idea to put this in the trike?..as the pipe that is in there is pretty rough..

Sorry for the dumb questions, but I am new to this....I just want to start pimp'n this bad boy up..
Thanks..
-Ryan

200X's are kick start, you probably have a 200S on your hands if its a pull start. The oil drain plug is below the shifter lever. looks just like the valve covers. 10W40 works great! take it appart, very easy, and spray it out with carb cleaner, make sure you dry it out before you put it back together. The streetbike exhaust is an outer frame mount right? ou would have to make a sbend so you could hook it up on a 200S. on an X you might have to do some moding but you could probably get it.
