i'm looking at buying a 250r-how would this bike handle in the woods and for hunting?

I dont think that bike would do well for hunting In my opinion. 250R is a race trike
I own one and wouldnt use it for hunting. It does do well in the woods though.
I would think you would want a big red,or 110-250 4 stroke auto clutch for hunting.
You can get racks for those and many other options suitable for your needs. There are also other models from yamaha and kawasaki you could look at also as far as utility. But if you want a honda thats what i would look at for hunting.

If you plan on running down a deer to catch it...then an R is the way to go. But thats illegal so dont...Like MN250r said, if yer lookin to haul somethin a big red is the way to go (the 250 is best).

Yup. 250R's would NOT work for dragging deer out of the woods.. lol. That would probably be a bad idea. But if you are looking for a nice woods bike/hunting bike, the Big Red's or 250SX is the way to go. The Big Red's have racks if that is what you are looking for, and the 250SX does not, but you can get them. The 200 Big Red would suit your woods needs fine.. they have oodles of power and a High/Low range. The 250SX and 250 Big Red have a super low first gear and tons of power for your woods needs, as well.
