Go to this site and send a letter to your congresman to help establish an ATV trail system in NY. The ARRA site explains it all.

With more and more states making ATV trail systems maybe they'll get a clue. You could also move outwest. We have lots of free trail systems and lots of wide open spaces. Check out the photos I posted of Rabbit Creek in the riding area.. I have not been to any of the forest trail systems yet.

When I bought my King Quad a few months ago, by law it cant leave the dealer unless its registered. They roll the registration fee into the total cost. It now $55.00 for one year. Up from like $15.00 and still not a single mile of trail built. It really pisses me off. Senator John Defrancisco is the man, Ive talked with him over the years and hes down for this. It obvious that he is one of the few who is so hes fighting a losing battle. If you have a choice Vote for him, hes the best and has helped me several times when I was on Work comp.

Last year, New York Gov. George Pataki, criticizing the legislature's spending priorities, deplored wasting money on trivial state projects like "cheese museums and pro wrestling halls of fame." In 2006, however, another $5,000 of state funds went to the Cuba (N.Y.) Cheese Museum, from a fund nominally controlled by Pataki. The Cuba Cheese Museum is not to be confused with the New York State Museum of Cheese in Rome, N.Y. [New York Times, 4-10-06]
What a waste of money!!! Know wonder we don't have any state funded trail systems
