I've heard tales of a Tecate 500 showing up for the drags, and we know we have some 500R's coming. We just need that 490 for a wicked 3 way drag photo!:TrikesOwn

it would be a neat pic to take but...........
the "old" 490 will not win nothing as far as speed goes
air cooled motors are ............ out ..............

almost done....almost done....anyone wanna buy a testicle? I need money....

lol....ride hieght is finalized. Dropped the front end 2 inches! much better now. Thats how Im running my rake and suspension. NOw the seat on the other hand, its gonna get some reshaping and trimming. Everything thats left is cosmetic.....

i think a lower bend bar will be better too...hmmm...if only you could "try em on" lol.

man, does that IT bring back memories! I'd love to find an IT in good enough shape to ride for few more years. :beer

what a beast. Wonder if a Tri-Z rear end and front end would bolt onto that IT frame???

Louis,

Are you going to seal that tank? Its a beauty and white but I think gas will turn it yellow/brown unless you seal it.

The bike looks great!! Can't wait to see more pics of her in action!

I measure and mocked it up, the Tri-z swingarm only needs a little triming to fit on my IT...like a 1/16th of an inch...lol The IT (465 btw) Is giving me nothing but problems at the moment tho......its Been riddin hard for quite a few years before i got it...lol

What do you mean by "seal it", I am painting a plastic gas tank soon and I want to know what to do so the gas doesnt die the tank a wicked nasty color
|Thanks

There are quite a few threads here on sealing the tank. Do a search. I have not done it myself...so I can't recall the exact product used.

Nevertheless, folks tell me it works great!
