First it was a 400ex, then it was a trike and now it's going to be a 400ex again. A lot can happen in a year. Every time the wife asks how much I'm spending I tell her "you don't want to know!" Today when 3 boxes came in from RMATV she looked at me and said "you're right, I don't want to know." Below is a pic of all the parts I've been gathering. There's not much more to come hopefully.

Right now the Frame, subframe, motor mounts and hubs are at the powder coater. They're going to be blue. When I get those back this week I'll share some pics of them too.

I'm just curious as to why you decided to change it back?

I'm still curious why I changed it Chris. It was cool on 3 wheels but I just couldn't get over that I ruined a perfectly good quad. I bought another quad frame so really I still have the trike chassis. Maybe someday I'll finish that but for now I had to put my quad back together. My perfect collection would be the quad I'm putting back together, a 250cc 2-stroke trike, a 110 or 125m and a nice 4-stroke dirt bike. I'm looking real hard for the right 110 or 125m right now. I love trikes and I'm good with trikes but I love my quad too. I'm building a Tri-Z from the ground up right now for a buddy so maybe I'll be able to wheel that a little at TF. Lets just say that I re-focused on what I want and want to do.

Got the frame and motor mounts back today. The hubs are due early next week but this should give me something to do this weekend.

Are those works shocks dual or triple rates? Mine are only dual but they are still really nice. Quad will look sweet.

Been working on it when I can. Here's some pics. Not so sure about using the stock black seat now. I'll have to make that call when it's rolling and I can see the whole picture. Enjoy

Great pics and progress! The black would work, but I would like red on there, Then, you got the red white and blue thing going, but not only that.....you need to have red SOMEWHERE on a Honda!:beer

That red actually isn't too bad of an idea. I think when I get it all together I'll have to put up some photo-chopped pics of the seat in different colors to see what would work best.
