That looks like a nice quad. If you don't mind me asking, how much was the chassis? Do they do custom chassis? I am looking for an aftermarket 250R roller, but if I can have a frame built specifically for my engine, I'd be more interested in that.

yeah he builds whatever you want...his site should have prices

he is cheaper then most and he builds the frames out of heavy wall tube. im not woried at all about busting this thing

i just looked and didnt see frame prices on the site but you can email him and ask...iv known HRE since middle school so i got great deal on this frame so my price would be to low for me to say....sorry

Thanks for the reply. I just emailed him about a chassis. I know what you mean about knowing the right people. My buddy sells me everything at his cost. He doesn't make a penny from me because I'm always lending a hand with his projects. He wouldn't take any more than his cost anyways, so I have no regrets. :D

Very nice Quad. Where in PA are you? We should hook up and ride sometime. This upcoming weekend are some drag races in Marion Center, PA. Good time to find out how fast your new Wheeler is. Races are Sunday. Later.

swigins my brother. my 86 trx 250r is basicly setup the same minus it dont have the longtravel shocks and stock setup rear. same aftermarket frame.

the chassis minus frame and swingarm it was from a 88 trx with a Tc racing 200x in it. the stock modified frame was really wooped and the engine cost to much to fix.

i swapped a 1998 yamaha wr400 for my buddy/ HRE for him to make me the frame, engine, vibration stem and swingarm. the rest was from the tc 200x. the brakes were not that great so we put the yz bike parts on it won off ebay.

he's working on it for riding privledges:lol: the parts are 95% mine. he did all the motor work since i dont have a clue on a 350x motor.

i finaly got to run this thing.....it runs REAL strong on top end the motor has a 11-1 piston and a TC high rev cam with a hell of a good port job. i was woried that the 2 inch pipe i made was going to be to big and id have no low end but thats not the case its perfect for that high reving motor.
