Honda Big Red 250, worth the price?

Hello. Been away for awhile, a long while. Recently just stumbled upon a 1985 Big Red 250. Was wondering if a price of $400 seems reasonable? Runs, goes through all the gears, everything is there. All of the plastic is cracked, broken but present. No engine noise or smoke, and the electric start works just needs a battery. The guy is not in a hurry to get rid of it, so I would be secured on the price. Sound fair? Thanks in advance.

$400 sounds like a great deal. The cheapest one we have found around here was $700 and the guy had it all jimmy rigged up. The shifter was welded on, all of the plastic was broken, the gas cap had a hole drilled in it and a tube inserted for some ungodly reason, etc etc. But yeah.. $400 sounds great.
