will 88 KXF engine fit in 86-87 KXT??

will a 88 Tecate quad engine fit in a 86-87, I think it will be want to make sure.

I am 99.9% sure that it will not fit. The KXF is a counterbalanced motor and that should prevent it from fitting into the T3 frame due to the counterbalancer being located in front of the crank.

thanks thats what I needed to know, I had a deal on a quad that I could part the rest of the quad (minus motor) and make my money back and get a motor out of it.
