Just got back from picking up the new R and snapped some pictures of it. I bought it from the original owner and it is 100% original. The motor has never been touched/taken apart and still on the original top end which is like new. Here are some pics. I’m still going to polish the plastic and install the front headlight once I do that she will look like new. Enjoy :pics: :pics: :pics:

Update: I polished the plastics up some and installed the front headlight. I think it looks much better now.

Its not a dent in the tank its just the lighting. Set me back 2500. I will post some more pics as soon as I get the plastics polished up. Ya I cant believe how clean it is, i think the guy rode it like once a year or something.

Yep very nice!!!! Congrats!!! :beer Mines in very close to that condition and that price is about what I have into mine..

If yours is a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10 I give mine an 8.5 :D

Cherish that machine because its seems pople had a tendency to trash the 83 and 84's . Like Rodney says "No respect" they are rare in that condition. what are your plans for it?? If you plan on parking it I have a few nice parts to bring it back to full OEM. Those look like cheng shins.... there are closer to OEM tires out there..PM me if you want some info.

Good luck on a nice score

In that condition, I would park it as an investment. Just start it a few times a year to keep fresh. Who knows what that will be worth in the next few years. Looks like a museum piece.

beautiful -

congrats

i was planning on going all white or all black with my 84...after seeing this gem, I think I will maybe go back to stock...That is one fine ride, and well worth every penny you have into it!!!! Personally, I would ride this one slowly around the yard, and never rip it. Then it would be washed, dried and placed on jackstands. Very sweet trike, congrats! Dave

Thanks for the comments guys. Orangecnty, not sure on my plans for it yet probably will not ride it often if at all, what tires do you have in mind that are closer to OEM, and any ideas where I can pick some up?? Thanks

Sorry for being super slow

Here pictured on the machine are the factory issued Dunlops which are long discontinued

And....

Here are the Ohtsus H-trak PV 301 22x11x8 I bought them a while back at Chaparral I beleive. The are identical with exception of dimpling every knobby versus the Dunlops alternating..If you can get them pick them up quickly because Ohtsu doesnt manufacture the tires anymore so whats out there is it!!!!!

Nice riding enviroment you have there, ever take any of your trike up or down the slide, or on the swings. :)
