ok listen ... i have a 86 tri-z and i put it in my front yard with a for sale sign on it...well a guy comes over and we get to talking and he says he has two 3 wheelers.. and that he lives in my town right next to fort mott (which is right where my friends house) so i ask him what kind they are... you know what he tells me? he says i have a 86 250r and a 85 250x (which happen to be the bikes of my best friends that got stolen around 2 months ago) so i acted like i was interested in a trade and asked to go look at them... so he takes me to his house LOW AND BEHOLD they were my friends... sitting in a garage less than 2 streets over... so i told him id call him back got all his info call the po-po and my friends got there trikes back............ idiot

Awesome catch wish we could catch all these thieves like this !!! I did this a few yrs ago on some construction equipment that was stolen locally. The guy was caught with over 100,000 dollars worth of stolen tools and equipment doing 15 yrs still. Just because he wanted me too deliver the scaffolding he bought from me

yea.... his ass has been beaten... that happened around 4 minutes before the cops showed up... they didnt really care since its kind of a small town and if *Edited* know the cops *Edited* know them well.... so yea... yes theres a finders fee.... they left me at my house and they went riding.... fags.... lol

Wow. That was some luck. I would have had to go back with a shotgun & bat. I would just have left the cops out of it. You could have empted his house & garge out. How did you friend prove they were his? Did have a a title or #. I know I need to get some title & write down all my #s incase some thing like this happens to me.

we had pictures that showed minor details... that the guy forgot to change... he painted it black... painted to pipe changed the tires painted the swingarm handles but he forgot to take off the rebel flag valve caps the super bike grips and the ducktaped brake line..... a few other minor details ( like his name chisseled into the frame under the seat) dumb ass lol
