try smackkk from this board. He might have a used tank. He is parting one out now in classifieds. I bought the motor from him. Haven't received it yet but it's on it's way.

this plastic weld that you speak of, is it like a JB weld for plastic? or what is the plastic weld?
Thanks for the reply, and big D, thank you, but his tank was for a newer year

I have the perfect thing for that at the shop, Its called Fusor, I have it on my tri-Z tank, but since its not available to buy for anyone other than body shops (as far as I know), try JB weld, but who knows how well that'll hold.....

be carefull with a plastic welder. you could melt a big hole in the tank. try it on a scrap piece first. or get a used tank.

I was thinking about JB weld, but I wasnt sure how good it would hold to plastic, and what the heck is plastic weld, anybody tell me, show me a picture of something that is plastic welded, how much will it take out of my wallet?

I would use Plastic Weld, I think you can get some at walmart or similar store, when I had a crack in my 50 tank, a combonation of duct tape, hot glue and super glue worked for like a week, but it wasnt pretty. lol

I have a tank off a 85-86 Trailboss. I was going to list it on ebay when I get feeling better ( had knee surgery ). If interested let me know via PM.
