Alright, i;ve been lurkin for a while and thought I would pop in with a story. About a year ago 3 of my buddys bought a sea container full of 90 and 110 stuff, AlOT of stuff. Frames......Pauter, Bandito and Jokers.....stockers too. About 20 complete engines, stroker cranks, big cams, springer front ends, a few complete stock wheelers, alot of good fiberglass and plastics and ton of other stuff. They decided to put together some old school bikes to take out to the desert with us just for some camp cruisers so the big bikes could take a rest. We go to Glamis and Gordons Well so this would be a fun little deal to do. Well things went out of control and there are 3 bikes done so far, all big stokers on alcohol with aftermarket frames full paint and alot of trick stuff. I checked them out last week for the first time and now I have the bug. I just got ahold of a sweet running 90, another that needs a tank to make complete, another roller with a 108 and a Chrome Bandito frame. My buddys are hookin me up with alot of stuff but I still need a good Supertrapp exhaust (we could use 3) if anyone has one and a good Pauter cyl and head with the oil port for the cooler. With all the parts I have so far I should be able to do a 134 on alcohol. I'll be looking for some advise from some of the old schooler 90 and 110 guys because this is one of the few bikes I have never owned. I have some eye candy coming later for you guys. Thanks for the great site.

If your going big, keep your eyes out for a stroker crank and the old modified cb750 piston, it will put you out around 181ccs' or so. Don't forget to vent your upper cover over your rocker and try to find a big als' dipstick breather, you need to vent the excess pressure of the engine, those big pistons and stroker cranks make alot of inner crankcase pressure. I've got an engine I put together and am getting the nicholson hardtail frame up to shape right now. I'm happy to see folks who remember what the original atc performance was all about. If your buddies have anything they want to cut loose, let me know. Here's a picture of my stroker 110 with twist throttle. Good luck and post pictures.

Im in East County. I used to ride a CR 500, a 86 250R wheeler. and way to many many earlier bikes I got out of the desert about 12 yaers ago, got to be a joke when all of the crap at Glamis started happen with a the little bad ass jerk off kids. I also hit Gordons alot but I decided it wasnt happening for me at that time so I sold out and kept my vac time for the river. Thats all I have right now.

FFF90.......I started going back out but now we hit Ogilby or Superstition.
Vealmonkey.......Thanks for the tips, the breather deal didnt even cross my mind.....thanks. As for now we arent getting rid of anything untill all the bikes are done, you know as soon as we sold something we would need it.
Well, I think I just found another source for some good stuff. I met a guy and 110 came up and I asked him if he had some chain tensioner rollers and he said no prob. So I asked him if he had any aftermarket frames? Yep......So I named off a few brands and he has them all, even a suspended Nicholson. He said he has a barn full of stuff and he'd help me out and gave me his #. As I was leaving he asked if I a big motor? I said why, what do you have? He said he has alot of stroker stuff but he mentioned a complete engine around a 160cc (he couldnt remember) with a Pauter head and I was like hmm. Im going to meet up with him next week and check it out. Sounds like he has some neat stuff.
Here are some pics of my buddys rigs. The went with the NASCAR theme so I have to come up with something.......we'll see.

Man, those are friggin sweet! I hope yours is all that and more. I couldn't find a pauter head, so I had to have a little porting done, better than nothing. I don't see anyone running any old turbo wheels, that would top off the old school theme. If you had the turbo wheels, you could paint them orange and do a "Dukes of Hazard" theme, lol. Make sure you vent all that crankcase pressure and an oil cooler would be nice too, try and mount the cooler up on the forks. I see your one buddy has his cooler down by the engine, not the best place, but, at least he used a cooler. You've got to come off some of those great parts and let some of us poor east coasters have a chance with some of that history, I couldn't even imagine a suspension 110. I do have 2 suspension 185s, one weld on and one bolt on and a suspension frame that takes an rd350 or rd400 that I'm working on also. That frame could also hold a kawi h2 750, now that would be wild if I could find one of those engines and put in there. Best of luck with your 110 and post pictures. Don't forget me if you guys are cutting any parts loose either, lol.

I've already put the word out around here that I want a set of the "Turbine" style wheels and the General theme crossed my mind but I still have time to decide. Come up with some good wheels and we can talk trades. I will try to get some pics of of the barn parts next week when I check it out. Im keeping some of my stuff top secret with my buddys. They have Pauter frame that they didnt want to give up so I went freelance and found my own sources and im going to come out swinging....lol.... i'll teach em to hold out on me. ;) I really need a clean exhaust if anyone has anything, atleast the header pipe and ill do my own muffler/silencer for it. Thanks.

I have some of the turbo wheels, I'll have to go through and see what all I have. I have some 3 and some 4 bolt wheels. I hope you realize the turbo wheels are only wheel halves and you need to use steel wheel halves or find plain aluminum halves to go with them. None of the wheels I have are that cherry, but, I've had to get what I can get, there are no barns or storage containers of stuff like that on the east coast. What kind of hubs will you be using? Don't forget to get yourself a nice pk racing intake, if not poweroll or sudco were the next best. Also, a set of fork extenders if you are using stock forks, or maybe aftermarket front end with the dirt bike forks? You can still get the supertrapp mufflers that you could use on a head pipe that you could bend yourself out of stainless, and the supertrapp is somewhat tuneable if you have access to a dyno. And you can get that powdercoat that looks fairly comparable to chrome, I am leaning towards gold powdercoat as most of the frames were gold anodized. Keep the pictures coming, by the way, did your buddies get any pictures of their storage container\ treasure chest? How about your barn find? I'm kind of nutty for the old stuff.

Thanks YTM.........but mine is gonna be WAY nicer than theirs.
Vealmonkey.........If I do decide to go with those wheels then they will have to be super clean. I do realize being that old they will not be perfect but I need them to be solid and true so I can powder coat them and polish the outer lip. With everything this says he has he should have about 30 of those wheels hanging around....lol. Oh......he also said he has some springer front ends like the ones on my buddys red bike.

Hey Fry, That's not nice teasing me with all these goodies you keep finding. Cut loose on some of these things and let a poor east coaster have something cool too. I'll just keep plugging along with what I have I guess. Don't forget about keeping the pictures coming. I'll post some pictures when I make some more progress with my frame. Good hunting, and don't forget to throw the rest of us a bone now and then, LOL.

Wazup? Well I just got back from the river and got a call from a buddy that his dad has a US90 sitting at his house doing nothing and he wanted to know if I wanted it.......................FREE. I said sure, I could use a good parts bike. So I unpack my stuff and cruise down to his place to check it out. I scored again. Its a mild custom deal, brown and white old school paint job, big bars, spring loaded whip mount and a hitch...lol. It has good compresion and tires. All it needs is a gas tank, throttle cable and seat recovered and it would be a sweet little cruiser. I have gone from nothing to almost 4 of these things and I have 150 bucks in the whole deal, lol. I think when its all said and done i'm going to do 3 of these things. 1 stock and pretty close to original, 1 mild custom with a frame and the 108 engine and 1 full tilt deal on alcohol but we'll see what happens as the parts keep rolling in. I forgot my camera in the boat which is at the river so i'll grab some pics a little later when my chick get back from Vegas with her camera.

Well here is the latest freebie. Its super straight and all there. My buddy who I got it from picked it up at an estate sale a few years ago as a package deal. The other part of the package was a 71 Suburban 3 door 4X...........and it matches the lil 90.....lol. He said it really ugly but super straight. The guy who built this thing must have liked to tinker. It has a taperd fender lift, goes from nothing at the front mount to about a 1 at the rear. The lil hitch is fully adjustabl and pretty stout. The headlight mounts are a little custom and blended to the forks. Its got a spring on the custom whip mount so the exhaust mount had to be massaged a bit. He got really funky with the hub adapters, he used automotive type studs and made some adapters to go to a 5 lug wheel but the rear axle has been messed with to keep it narrow. Here are some pics.

Does anyone know who made the frame and front suspension on the "#8" bike on page 1? Are they worth anything? I have a co-worker with a 110 with the same front suspension. Thanks.

I believe its a pauter built or joker frame and a rutt ryder front end . Both very hard to come by .

I was going to say Nicholson as I bought a frame fairly close based on the pictures in this post as a Nicholson. The front end is definately a Rutt Ryder.
