70 wont start

i have a 78 atc70 and ki am having problems. when i pull it it like backfires out of the carb. any ideas woyuld be great.

lol check your valves man they may be bent that happend to me and it was a *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* to fix but it will work eventually!! good luck man

i got it runnin bvut i keep fouling plugs.

I would check your cam chain tension and you cam timing in coralation to the crankshaft. If all that checks out you might need head work. One of your valve may be bent or oil might be seeping into the combustion chamber from the valve guides. If your points are not set exactly correct this will happen also, so make sure the are set right before you tear into anything else.
