I just picked this big red up today.I bought it from a 70 yr old man,who bought it new in 85.it has original tires, which are in great shape.every thing is original.even has all the decals.brakes need to be replaced.Has a nerf bar which i did not know thet came with but he said it was stock.after looking at a few of 250 big reds in the $ 1000.00 range that were real ruff.i decided to buy this for $1500.00 i know its a little high but considering the shape and the old man did'nt drive it much.anyways im real happy with it.cant wait to get my plow made for it so i wont have to shovel this winter.

Very nice.... the floorboards might have been put on at the dealer but they are made by an aftermarket company. (CMP) I have a set just like them on my Big Red that I picked up NIB. Check down on the right side on the skid plate by the footbrake pedal for a silver sticker with their info on it. Out of MN if I remember correctly!
Really, for a unmolested clean original machine, you did good at $1500!
