of how much time I spend on here  but seriously -- I'm addicted, and I'm loving all of the great advice!

So...I know that this isn't quite a trike...but what do you guys think of the Honda Fat Cat? How do they ride??? I want one just cause they're so different, but I want something to ride too!!! Someone w/ some experience let me know what you think!

Thanks! :beer

Buy an older atc250r and put the missle kit on it, it would probably be cheaper.

Well...we went to look at it, and I gotta say it is AWESOME!!!! Same owner since it was new -- has one chip in the front fender, and the "Fat Cat" decal is missing...but other than that it's pretty good!!! I'm gonna have a pretty restless night w/ this thing runnin through my head...

Years ago a buddy of mine had a Fat Cat. I've never liked dirt bikes because I'm vertically challenged and I don't like not being able to reach the ground. With the Fat Cat, that's not a problem, because it's low. I thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread, and I've wanted one ever since.

The Fat Cat came in only one model, the TR200. The Yamaha Big Wheel is similar and came in 3 sizes; the BW80, BW200, and BW350. My riding buddy has a BW80 and a BW200, which spend quite a bit of time at my place. I've ridden both. The 80 is ridiculously small for a 200lb guy, but still goes llike heck. The 200 needs an engine rebuild, so I can't say I'm impressed with its power, but it's got a very smooth floaty ride, which is what I remember from the Fat Cat. The Yamaha is a manual clutch, though, and I don't like that as much as the Fat Cat automatic. The automatic clutch lends itself well to tight quarters and exploring the woods, and I'm forever stalling when I try to do that kind of riding with a clutch.

Its my nabor kevin that has one its pretty nice condition but the only problem is with the fatcats is its not the best for a 6 foot 290 pound person but they are SWEET id still get one didnt they make one with a 200x motor and one with a 350x motor i know my neighbors got one and it has a 200x motor.

I don't know why they stopped making them. I bet if they did make them again, they would have a lot of sales. Perfect trail bikes.

If you dont mind, What did you pay for your Fat-Cat. I remember them comanding some serious bucks not long ago. If its in real good shape, runs well and you paid less than $1000 you got a Sweet deal. Allso remember they are rare so take care of it. Could be a good investment.:beer
