cant get no spark need help

got water in and around the magneto and now my 83 suzuki lt 125 wont start do i need to get a brand new magneto or can i repair it ??

how long ago was it wet?....its probaly rusty

like 4/5 days went for ride then had it in the garge for few days before i found out took the pull cord cover case off and water just poured out if its rust can just clean the contacts
