I was wondering how well that converted CR250 ran at Trikefest? I've been looking for that wonderful thread, to ask a few qts. to the builder. I'm not having much luck finding it again. If by chance you remember the post name I'd be greatful for any help. I think it was Cr250 converted to 250r... I think. I wanted to find out from the builder about the final rake? Did he change the rake? Also the swingarm angle was based on what? Did the length of the swingarm work well? I have an 01' YZf 426 I'm dreaming of possible converting over. I'm nowhere near smart enough to mill or fab what he made. I do however know people that can. I need info and I have no idea the mans login name. I see the trike made it to the party and I'm sure he had to clean the drull off it all weekend. Hey if you read this please get back to me? I'd like to pick your brain if I may. I just need some direction, and if your willing to help feed me with some insite, I'll be a good newbee and listen.:beer

The conversion did VERY well, considering it was it's first real ride.
No breakages, had some chain adjustment issues that were remedied at camp after the poker run. Chain flew off on "hard" section of the poker run...on a hill. We got it up and over the top of the hill with some MUCH APPRECIATED help from a few guys in a yellow Rhino (I think it was a Rhino) and i think another guy on a 4x4. Got the chain on again and threw it off on another hill on the way out.
Got the chain on again and got up over the hill and saw the guys with the Rhino with a busted tie-rod and a tire off the bead.
Stopped to help, but nothing we could do. Escort tie-rod end looked like a great fix!!
Anyway, after the chain adjustment friday, the trike ran graet for the rest of the weekend. It was run on the strip by Trike, 3Razors, Speedbump and maybe a few others. It hauls!
I'm sure he'll give you any info you ask about and then some. Good luck on the conversion.
You may want to contact 3wheelsforever (Virgil) he built a 426 trike conversion and it looks awesome.
That was kimmer in the yellow rhino. So you can put a name to the face LOL.
