Sorry I somehow missed you at TF. I am blaming everything I did or didnt do at trike fest on howdy and mik6. Howdy sold me 6 cool coozies and Mik6 convinced me that all new coozies had to be broken in correctly. :lol: Anyway it seemed you never really gave the 500r all it had till the tecate 500 came along? were you just toying with them? I swear i didnt think anyone was going to beat the tecate it looked unbeatable. so whats the scoop? where you just playing with the yammy's and kawi's till it came right down to it? :beer

After my exhaust pipe mount lost a bolt and fell off the front of the cylinder in the practice runs Nate towed me back to my trailer with his LTR450 and I pulled the seat, tank, re-mounted the pipe, made a quick chassis adjustment in relation to weight transfer (Which helped a TON) and I removed the silencer. I ended up having to wire the back end of the pipe to the frame because I lost the one mount. And the extra weight of the silencer on the end made it flop around really bad, so I just pulled it off.

I think up until the main event, I was just feathering the throttle at launch and wasnt really holding it at a specific RPM when the board turned. I was also alot more picky on choosing my starting lines. Most everyone was going for the rutted out places. I kept taking the the right line closest to the guardrail where it was still a little bit soft, and it wasnt all the way dug down to the hard pack. I think that right there is pretty much what ultimately won it for me. I'm pretty sure everything being equal start wise, that the KXT would be faster then me.

ya it was good racing though. the kxt is pretty nasty, and your 500 obviously is since you won. I loved the drags, unfortunatly the wreck happend though and ended things on a bad note. I hope he is ok, i know everyone was and is praying for him.

Ya would have been Nice if it would have worked. He said he is not given up on the 310 yet will be back for Tf 07 Im sure with some more Hall's Performance mod's.Looking for Myself a Trike Now to bulid up for the drags Next Year. This was My first Tf and could not of had more fun thanks again the OTC crew is a kick ass group of ppl.

I have some snazzy shots of you and the 500 .I need to d/l them from the camera yet.As far as the drag races.I took photos of everyone that ran to the best of my ability,now,,whos who? I cant say for sure but I can try to get something set up for the pics and you all can look at them . If you have any advice as to where I can upload a bunch of pics let me no.I have yahoo but I dont no the limit to the pictures.I'll look into it and make a post if I can get something going.

I hope not!! We are working hard to get gather all the footage we can so we can get a DVD put together ASAP. Sooner we get the footage the faster we can get the DVD put together.

Nate we have a 200kb per picture upload limit here on the forum. But, an option just as good is www.imageshack.us you can upload whatever size picture you want and then when its done it will give you a code you can copy and paste here into a post where we can all view it. Lookin forward to checking those out :D

Just wanted to add, the 250's that were worked were HAULIN BALLS to say the least. Jason and I were very close last year and it was about the same this year. My motor is still stock over then the head being rechambered and bored 1mil over. I'm gonna get some work done to it between now and next year, I think it'll really scoot then. brapp told me about a big bore kit PSI use to make that I'm gonna try checking into and I have a few other ideas on the table I'm considering :)
