I have a leaky tank on my 1979 ATC 70. I have the KREEM kit and am getting ready to do this as it worked great on my 1982 185s 8 years ago and still holding strong.

My question is that on my 185s, I could totally remove the petcock and just plug the little whole. Inside the 70, there's the main and reserve drain holes that you can't remove - they're welded in from the factory!

Is it possible to Kreem this tank without clogging those?? Can anyone speak from experience? Even if not, I'd appreciate your thoughts and comments.

To Kreem or not to Kreem - THAT is the question.

Yeah, I have the same question on my 90. I've been thinking of trying to insert something into the metal outlet tube just long enough to hopefully stick out the top and keep the hole from clogging. Dunno if it will work, but it would be interesting to hear what others have done.

When I did tanks like that I just put electric tape on them to block them up. Then after I poured the sealer out I use a long narrow drill bit to push through & make sure it was not clogged. Any thing long and norrow should work. I have not had any problems doing it this way & it has been to years or so.

There's a bend in these outlets, so a drill bit wouldn't work. But some nylon chord or a pipe cleaner just might. Thanks!

Any thing stiff with some movement should work. Coat hanger mabey.

I have done this the same way, just carefully shooting a little compressed air into the pipes to clear the Kreem.
