What is a Trailboss worth ??

OK,I am at this openhouse yesterday ,and my buddy ask's me if I wanna see this Quad he picked up! Well we take the tarps off and it's a polaris trailboss,it has a blue rear rack,looks stock- blue plastic and a yellow seat. He says it runs but you have to start it with the recoil on the right side and the cover for the belt on the left has a hole on the top from the belt rubbing,needs a starter and some TLC !! Has wolly bogger on 10" wheels on the rear and new frts! I can tell anybody anything they need to know about Honda's but have no clue on the Polaris! What is this thing worth,Ballpark ? And are parts easy to comeby for these things? I know e-bay will have stuff but are these things easy to get parts for other than e-bay? I don't even know what year this unit is,any clue's? Any info is appreciated!!!

Parts for the polaris are high at the dealer, and they are kinda thin on EBAY also. The engines hold up pretty good tho and they are fairly tough. I figure its worth around $500.00 or so. I just parted out a 250 trail boss. I have a 400 liquid cooled now I am about to part out. I also have a 90 sportsman that my son rides, he loves it...!!!!!!!!!!!!

What year is it, if your not sure of the year then find the product number on it and post it on here. Mose polaris quads are easy to find parts for and they can take all kindsa beetings and still go fine.
