Throttle cable info

Why is the throttle cable on my 1985 YT175 split halfway down? One cable goes to the carb, what does the other one control?
Is there a special name for this type of throttle cable? Because I cannot find one anywhere!

It goes to your oil pump, so when you hit the gas it automaticaly injects oil into the intake (gas).

Try jacking the cables off of any single carb snowmachine.
