Is there any other New pipe available for the tri-z other than the dg extreme pipes. its all i find anywhere. if not are there any custom pipes makers out there that make pipes for the Z
talk to bryan raffa, something about a deal with dyno-port he was working on.

well i ended up getting a dg and i think the other guy did too. so your back too 1... its hard too get that many guys together at one time and everyone have the money to do it. wish you were around a few months ago we would of had no problem finding one more..

yeah i hear you i just picked my Z up last month so i wasnt looking for z parts then too bad i missed the boat on that one.
BUt since you have the dg pipe how do you like it? any noticable change in power? was it worth buying?

i like it better than stock but theres not many choices is there...LOL unless you have one made then your talking $$$$$$ for just one.. theres other pipes out there that pop up on ebay once and a wile but most of them have been snached up allready.. if you can spend the little extra for the extreame pipe it cleans up like a jem with a little mothers polish.well worth it!!
Has anyone tried to take out the 10mm of the stock pipe like recommended on the Wrench report. It might just be what you are looking for without spending any money (assuming you are handy). It would be worth a try.

i would like to do that wrench report on my Z but id wait till its rebuild time before i do it. as for the pipe i want to get rid of the stock setup i already have an aftermarket silencer so i just need to find a nice pipe to go with it. but that is an idea to keep in mind thanks

The wrench report stage one with the stock pipe cut 10mm makes for a nice easy to ride Z with more power everywhere! If the Z had come stock like that it would have been incredible. No loss of rideability . The stage 2 makes for a machine that requires a little more attention paid to it. I wish I could remember what year YZ jug could be used with the YPVS . I just remember that it made it even stronger and easier to use under most conditions. It's been close to 20 years now since I played with them. As for pipes go with the Klemm Research or a Bassani. They are both very good pipes for the Z. Klemm also made a 350 kit for the Z which made for a very strong hillclimber or drag racer.
