Supertrapp. How about just using the header and buying one of those black universal ST mufflers. Any suggestions?

The header is is fairly good shape and I'm sure I can clean it up pretty good. But the holes that hold the disks on the back are stripped.:wondering
So I dont know how to add a poll but should a scrap this, use it how it is or any way to fix it?

Hmmm, why not just drill new holes aside of the old ones and retap? I don't think you would even have to cover the old ones up as the 1st disc would cover it.
Seem possible? HEY, I think I have 6 disc or so ! You'd use a disc to mark the hole pattern.
What's wrong with the camera? Pictures are quite blurry so most likely they are making the pipe look better then it really is but I agree on the header portion, it doesn't look too bad.

That may work. I would have to get a threading setup thingy though... either way I look at it it's gonna cost me more money..
There are two screws stuck inside the outer part of the muffler but on the outside of the baffle (kinda in no mans land) Lol... I can see then through the big rusted out hole in the end. How the heck can I get those out.
Oh,, can an endcap be bought sepretly? I will probly need some screws as well. or is that something I can pick up at lowes?

The header guard screws, I'd heat them up real good before trying to turn them.
Put it this way, I had more break then not.
I can't really see them good at all and just giving you a heads up on them.

Hmm, not sure what you mean. But the heat shield is real loose as well. Is there washers or something supposed to me behind there. Believe me at this point this is the least of my concerns.
I also thought about using the header with a stock muffler but that would not work. the ST header is a bit wider than stock.
Anyone have any ideas?
I'm gonna install it in the moring just for the hell of it. Can I do damage to my motor if I run it for any legnth of time?

Two of the bolts that hold the endcap on pushed through and are stuck behind the plate that the threaded holes are in. No mans land... LMAO!!!
I wonder if the muffler part off a 350x would work on this... they seem to be more plentiful than the 250sx ones. Idk.. just thinking out loud.

Is this one of the stock bolts for the disks? Something like this can be picked up at a hardware store I hope. Just gotta get the disks and endcap somewhere.
Hey huffa you got one of those tap and die kits? Maybe after I get the parts I need you can head up and loan a hand? Thenafterwards I'll buy the martinis and grub! :beer

The What you talkin bout, Willis?? was that TV show and when the guy didn't understand something, that's what he would say.
I can't recall what show it was though, guess that's the least of your worries  I never watched a whole episode and I think it was quite a stupid show.

I forgot to answer your ?'s
Yea it does look like the bolt and I don't have a tap and die set. You can buy just the size you need I think. Heck, it could be metric or american thread. I'd see what's available and make sure you can get the "set" meaning tap and bolt, before buying either one.
Hey, maybe this will turn into another carb thread?

I think a whole new plate needs to be welded on the back. some new holes and some thread. Might be more work than its worth. but see what he says.
If you/he needs anymore pics or diffrent angles whatever give a hollar.
thanks again Jason.

that steel piece with the stripped bolts comes out of the aluminum piece.. he made a special puller to get that part out.
he mite be able to weld some small nuts on the back side.
