I'll be there for sure. Whether or not I'll be racing is still kinda up in the air after my recent Smith Road experience.

Three of us made it out to the race today. Kept the 3 wheeler class open one more race! Brian, Brandon and I.
We ran with the small bore quads and the 25+ quads for both motos. First moto I finished 1st, Brian 2nd, and Brandon 3rd. Second moto Brian finished 1st, I finished 2nd, and Brandon finished 3rd.
We suprised alot of quads today. Beat a ton of them and pushed on the leaders!

man it didn't sink in how bad my day was untill i seen the results posted, blah.heres a little more detailed recap from the dogs eye view.
today was perfect mx weather.sunny, dry, and a light breeze to boot.the track was well groomed, and was handling supreme.the dirt seemed to want you to go faster, absoulutly beuatiful!!!
so the first moto started well for me.i got a good holeshot, and came out in 3rd,with derrick right behind me.brian got stuffed on the inside, and hung up.the guy on the golf cart in front of me was a nusince.held me up quite a bit.i soon passed him to move into 2nd,overall out of 11 riders, and derrick followed.we ran like this for a lap, with brian pullin the pack behind us.i looked back to see derrick on my tail,so i turned it up a bit.i looked back half a lap later and some how 2 quads had got by him.i had a pretty good gap,and never felt threatned by the 2 quads.i was doing well, and pulling away form the quads.i took the long sweeper to the right, and hit the double.i cleared it but when i landed my chain popped off.i pulled off the track, got it fixed, and went back out,but i was next to last.i decided to save energy and just play around.so i got back into rythem, and got a burr in my arse.i threw a nofooter over the 70 foot table top,and continued to watch derrick and brian battle it out a few turns ahead.that was the first moto.the second was just as bad for me.
i got another good start, and came out 4th.i had to go around the double, but got right back on the track.i locked the brakes up to setup for the next right hander, and BAM!!!.....stupid quad hit me right in the rear tire, locking us together.i had to get off my bike, and untangle us.got him loose, and had to fir the bike back up.here we go again i thought.got her started and boy was i pissed off.i rode as hard as i could for 2 full laps, and then fatigue set in.i made up 5 poisitions, but finished third in the 3 wheeler class,...again.errr.i guess thats racin?!!!!
all in all it was a great day.we really proved that we are competitive with quads.derrick and brian both ran awesome races.spanked some quads, and jumped some new things today.they put in a step on,step off, double rythem section, and by the end of the day i was stepping off,and doubling out.it felt good!!!!also all three of us were tearing the whoops up!!doubling through, and passing lots of quads there.i had fun,and can't wait for the next practice/race over at gailion.if you live close by you deffinitly should come out to support this track.they love havin us!!
great description B. i can almost picture the race.it sounds like a good time.sounds like you did well, even with the little quirks.

Cept you can't picture us hitting the tabletop and flying 8ft in the air for 60+ feet! Damn that's scary... But what a RUSH!!

Im really glad you guys were able to maintain a showing for the trike class. My biggest fear is that now that we have it established, it will disappear for lack of interest. Is the Brian you are speaking of, "Flyin' Brian"?

we have to keep the trike class going,i'm not quiting anytime soon!!we just need more people to come!
