I am getting MX 22 inch tires for my X. I am going to go from a 13 tooth in the front to a 14 for better top end. I also want to get a smaller rear sprocket. (38 or lower) but Rockymountain, ebay, and denniskirk all have no rear sprockets besides the 40 tooth ones. Should i find like a 250x rear sprocket or something that keeps the 520 chain and just buy a 38 tooth or spend LOTS of cash that i DO NOT have on sidewinder custom sprockets? My X does 65 now with this gearing how fast will it be with the 14/38 gearing? Also i am going to be putting a 400ex carb (once i get one real cheap of eBay) i have a 450r silencer(as of today). You think i can hit about 70? Thanks! Cragster

NVM i realised that I could use a 86 200x rear sprocket... They are 38 stock i believe... and are 520 size chain

I bought a 14T front. I found a 36 rear i would of bought if i didnt get the 14 tooth front. The only way i would buy the 36 rear and 14 front is if i have 18s or 20s on the back and a custom 10 inch rim up front with a smaller tire to be smaller all the way around. But that costs money and trust me, im not made of it! lol
The 200x one didnt fit. The holes didnt match up

With the 14/40 and 22's I would say that you could hit 70. I don't think those numbers are "skewed", LOL!

Did that rear sprocket fit???
I thought i read that 200x sprockets didnt fit but a 300 ex sprocket would. I searched a couple weeks back and couldnt find the post anywhere....
If it did fit what year 200x was it for?
