I've taken the carb off twice now and I think I've really cleaned it well. Soaked with carb cleaner and all the jets have every hole open. Took every screw and jet out and put back in. It starts with half a pull or by just touching the starter, but yet, it won't accelerate. I've taken the plug out and it looks really good, brown-black on the tip, but otherwise, okay. I cleaned the petcock and filter and still no luck:(

Still sounds like a lean condition to me. Either your main jet is plugged, your floats are set too low or you have a blockage in the fuel line/petcock somewhere. Make sure you dont have an airlock in the fuel line, I've had that happen before.
Also, as mentioned above, have you tried a new plug? That might be all it is.

Check you petcock, it could be packed full of junk , its making it just get enough gas to idle. If that don't work get a new NGK spark plug. But I would still highly recommend a carb kit also.

I say check the float in the carb. Maybe time for a carb rebuild kit. :wondering

I have to go to town tomorrow (53 miles away) and I'll buy a couple more spark plugs and see how that works. Also, can anybody help me find service manuals online. I've tried DeePa site and it just doesn't work, at least not for me. Any help, I need to check my timing etc.
