Not sure what year or size motor this yellow 3 wheeler is.

I'm thinking its a 83 yamaha ytm 225DXK because it has the mono shock in the rear, it has 5 gears (no reverse) and it has a shaft drive. I have the numbers off the frame which match the ones on the motor and they are (29U-004016) and on the motor by the oil filler it says 1500CM3. Any help would help, also the reason I'm trying to figure out which one it is, because I just bought a new spark plug and coil and I don't know why it doesn't have a spark. If anyone knows if the cdi or stator might be bad and if you know how I can test it let me know. Thanks alot.

Are you sure it doesn't say 225CM3? When it says something like "500CM3" (with a small 3 by the M), it means cubic centimeters.. which is CC's. From what you are saying.. its a 1500 CC bike..??

Yes it is a Yamaha YTM 225dx unless it has reverse then it is a 225dr.

So I hear 83? Am I right. Does anyone know what could be wrong if I can get it to turn over but doesn't spark? I've replaced the ignition coil and spark plug. Let me know.

On my 200 the plug cap was bad... Otherwise the stator could be the problem.
