I picked up a decent 85' ATC70 last week for $150. It has the original non-cracked plastics, straight undented fuel tank, and is pretty much rust free.

Anyway, it is missing the flywheel, flywheel pulley, and the pull starter. Since I am going to be in there, I'd like to do a CDI conversion. I found a site, dratv.com, that has the conversions, but I dont know which to get. They appear to come with a new flywheel, but claim that the ATC version needs machine work done to make it work..

I've done some searching, and it seems like there is some confusion over which flywheels will fit which bikes. The number on my motor is TBO3E-3041765 if that helps out. Should one of the dratv kits work fine? If not, where should I go about finding a CDI conversion?

If I remember right, the maching is so the pulley cage will fit over the flywheel. The piece that is riveted to the cdi flywheel is slightly too big.

ok, thanks...I just finally wrote them an email asking if it would work, and if they had any atc kits available...

I have asked about ATC kits too, last I heard they were not done yet.
