Bought an 81 250r for 75 bucks!

:lol: Picked this up along with 4 other machines last night, total for all of them breaks down to about 75 bucks each for them. Its a heap but I thought it was interesting that one showed up around here

the 81-2 250R's are the best 2 stroke trail bike in my opinion. really short wheelbase with a real grunty powerplant. decent suspension when progressive springs are installed. I ran mine with the stock gearing(13-44) with 20" tires and I couldnt be happier, would motor up anything.

yeah i can see where it could be a great trail machine due to its size. It might become a project, I am not in a hurry but I am not going to part it out either. I quit working on the Tri-Z and just boxed it up and pushed it in the shed, I will prolly do the same thing with this one until my interest picks back up into another build

One of my fastest and favorite trike builds was my 81!!!What a blast to ride and race these things.
