Big Bear 350 HELP!

I need help with an electrical problem on my big bear. The symptoms are that my neutral light will not come on when the key is on, the lights dont work without it being running. The reverse light stays on all the time unless the lights are on then it goes off. The starter button will not start it, no clicking no nothing. When running the lights will dim with higher RPM's, and the relays on the rear will make a buzzing sound. I have replaced both relays, neither made a difference and even the new ones buzz when the lights are on. I am at my witts end here and thinking of going Honda:twisted: well maybe I am not that desperate yet but I am getting close.

Dont think so, but thanks anyway. If it were the switch it wouldnt pull start so easily, and probably wouldnt run at all. I think it is something deeper.

I think you need a new battery

I have a brand new one in it, less than a week old. The odd thing is that it does this intermitenly(SP). And when it is running the reverse light is glowing, and the neutral light wont come on at all. I am thinking it is a relay or something like that.

Stator ? Will the battery hold a charge over a long time ? What was the reason for replacing the old battery ?

I thought it was the battery at first, replaced it with OEM unit and it still does it. The funny thing I discovered today is that when I wash it everything works great, no problem at all. I am going to go over the entire electrical system tomorrow looking for shorts and such, going to be interesting to see what it really is.
