it all started when i got back from the glamis trike fest just last april and decided to rebuild the top end on the R. while doing this i wanted to get a titled frame for my bike because i didnt have one and didnt want to run the risk of taking it to DMV and them take it due to it being reported stolen. KASEY came to the rescue and had an 85 titled frame so i decided to take everything off the 86 and put it into the newly coated 85 frame. if anyone is thinking of doing this is can be done but with a few minor fame changes from the years. so while the engine was out i had some work done and to say the least im very impressed. here are some pics i took during the rebuild process. enjoy!

Looks awesome dude! You rode it with the motor work yet?

I had huge plans for all my projects for this summer and I haven't done a single thing except inch closer to getting my powdercoating stuff up and running (still just waiting on electrical there). Freakin' career change just threw a wrench into the whole thing. I'm afraid to spend any money right now.

Looking forward to Glamis again already. Just hope the R holds on for another season without any major expenses.

Well if you want to try and hook up for a local ride the next time the temps drop just a little let me know. All I have to do is throw my skid plates back on and it's ready to roll.
