I am building a ATC from the ground up and am wondering if putting a CT 350 on a ATC will cause any heating problems.

I'm running the ESR 310 kit on my 85 250R and have no complaints. I have learned the hard and expensive way that the added stress of running a big bore is hard on cranks and can cause failure if the crank is weak or worn to begin with. But, other than that I'm very pleased. To answer Psycotrike's question, yes the motor will run hotter but the cooling system should be able to handle it. After all, there's no replacement for displacement!

Hold off for just a little longer. The new sphinx and puma cylinders are getting released from cp industries. They are a superior design and put out more hp than any of the pro-x jug big bores. It will be the hot setup

OK shweet, cause i was worried that the radiator on the atc was not big enough to cool the motor as good as the fourtrax. And will a +4 swing-arm help from doing too many wheelies. I am 300 pounds but i dont know how much that will help because even on a stock ATC i was pulling wheelies.
