200x rear shock question?

I was wondering if all years 200x rear shocks are the same, size that is?

83-85 are the same then the 86-87 are the same.

If you need measurements, I have a 1985 shock that I can measure real easy for you.

Ok, guys. Help me out here if I am wrong. I am thinking the same shock will work on 83-85 as the 86-87. Just one requires the dog bone and the other doesn't. Am I right or wrong on this one?

83-85 use the same shock. 83 does not use the dog bone. 84-85 both do.

I'll get those measurements soon.
