Where can I find a chain slider for my 1983 Honda ATC250r? This is the one that goes up on the front of the swing arm. Thanks,,

The one from Honda has been discontinued so just wondering if there is an aftermarket one out there. Thanks,

Ya I need one for an 83 R also but I have had no luck. So I just used a leather belt, works great.

Someone contacted TM Designs (maker of many chain sliders) at one point several years ago and I believe they said if they had an order of 20 they would make them but otherwise would not bother making any.

when oldschoolin built my swinger for my 83R he used a slider off of a DS650. I know its not a direct bolt on to the original swinger but its an option. all you have to do is weld up a nut to the swinger with the right offset and it will work. its made out of plastic and there is enough ds650's around that new and used ones will be around for a while
