Well seeing as how most of us end up buying and selling often lets see what is in your collection now. I'll start out by posting up the pictures I took last weekend since I had them all out for their end of the season wash. I just wish it wasn’t so sunny out (or that I had a better camera).

I gotta get a recent pic, but its alot of work hauling them all out and then putting them all back, suppose it would be good to circulate the oil once in awhile. In addition to ones in this pic there should be a '85 Tri-z, '89 Trx 250r, '87 trx 250x, '83 atc 70, '78 atc 70, '72 US 90, '85 350x, Suzuki LT 80, '76 Trail 70.

Yeah I am more of a Honda person too but I can't turn down a project trike. Thanks for the complement on the 200x. Do you know what type of fork boots are on your R? I think they would match the plastic on my X, maybe I should get a set.

I have no clue but if you ask me they are faded dirtbike fork boots. Thy looked horrible on there so I cut them off. Actually I think DENNISKIRK has a set like the ones I cut off, light blue or sky blue or somethin know that I think about it. Check em out on their site.

Here is a small colage (sp) of my family (actually it is our family, some of these (5) are ATC_Horses) This picture reminds me of the old school picture frames that have 1st thru 12th grade pictures in them LOL.

Got them all out, I store the 250x and 250r quads on the rear bumper, somehow on the X even with the fuel shut off "OFF" it drained all the gas into the oil. Must have went through a valve guide or past the rings since it hasn't been ran in about a year. I checked the oil and it sprayed out the hole, probably 3 quarts over full, smelt like gas, plus the tank was empty.

chris200x: what model Zuki is that quad? they sure sit high in the back.

OZQUAD44
09-10-2006, 11:30 AM
Its an Lt230 quadsport. (later models were 250's, I think that is an early one 85/86?)

They came out when the first quad racers came out and at the time they were the best four stroke sport quads you could buy.

Chain drive, Disc brakes all round, 6 to 7" of front and rear suspension travel, 229cc of raw air cooled power with about the same top end speed as a 200x.

How things have evolved!

Small family... 85 Yamaha 200ERN front and rear racks (rear rack off of an unknown 4 wheeler). 85 Honda 250sx, it's kinda sick right now but it's getting better. Only paid $50 so I expected some work.

You have a very nice collection!

I am wondering, what is that shinny round thing on your R handlebars? It kinda looks like a bike horn.

That round thing is indeed a bike horn. That is my friend Troy's, 250r. He likes his horns.

I've got a pic of one of Chevy200s' trike, the CENZA 250, a rare factory racer mfg. in the town of Parma. This trike was used in asphalt drags against late model snowmobiles and crotch rockets. Note the smooth rear tires. The larger diameter tires allowed the trike to reach top speeds beyond that of the stock Cenza 250. A 250R seat was added for comfort. And the headlight, for night drags of course. It was also available with Cenzaline parts including stickers, a wing, NOS, spinner hubcaps, a trick set of downpipes, fart can, turbo kit, and a subwoofer.

on the Cenza 250, let me explain the rareness of this sick and ill trike...

 yeah so my buddy herculesengine here and I were bored one night after we picked up a 125m parts machine and we decided to make a funny picture. As far as his trike, it weighs just under 20 tons and doesnt have the best handling ever but hey it works. Probably need a mack truck to take it to trikefest though, haha

anyways, sorry to be so off topic for this post, I'm gonna get a good pic of all my trikes soon so then Im not so bad of a thread hijacker

HerculesEngine

Chevy200s,

You know that my Daniel Best steam traction engine will eat your 250R up in a heartbeat (we'll see at trikefest)... and the Cenza 250, no match to the Best's smoky goodness.

Anyways, here's my real trike; I decided to keep it after all since I wouldnt have a machine to ride. Its the R in my sig. Take care folks...
