I just test-drove my friends ghetto-built Yamaha 700 Triple-powered go kart, and I want my own. That thing is sooo fast, it hits 92 in a quarter mile, and it's still accelerating!

Anywho, I traded my Puma 440 snowmobile for an MXZ 583, but because the chassis is shot and needs almost everything replaced, I'm just going to pull the engine bay out of it and plunk it down into my sand rail frame, the engine and clutches will be mounted and aligned for me (w00t for shortcuts).

I was thinking a few nights ago about a rear suspension design which I believe will be better than the extended swingarm on Isaac's cart. Here it is:

Do the more mechanically-adept here at the site think this is feasible?

Here's the general frame design: http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i130/JokerMachine/Framedesign.jpg

And cooling setup: http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i130/JokerMachine/Coolingsystem.jpg

Cool idea. Also a good deal on the trade, those 583's are very nice motors, good design, lots of power and light weight. Good luck with it!

Mount the radiator in the rails behind the driver's head. Less chance of damage and there will still be good airflow.
