whats the diff in the 85 and the 86?
Congratulations on the great deal. The button should be for the electric start and the choke lever on the dash is a Yamaha part. I think I have a few extras if you are interested. There is no reverse overide so it goes allmost as fast backwards as forwards. I missed TF this year to do a full comparison between the 2 years but 2 things that stand out are the exhaust guards are different and the fuel tank mounts different. My guards are a wire cage as opposed to your aluminum ones.

thanks 200x
the start button is made into the on/off switch housing, this is just like a little push button. the wire goes into the headlight housing.. i have not had a chance to take the headlight out to see where this wire ties into.
