klt250: should i fix it?

ok got an 1985 KLT 250
got all the plastics{all scratched and cracked}
and it did run and drive ok
smoked
but it was overall good
i rode it for 2 weeks
then something went wrong now it just pushes too much oil and fouls the plugs


should i fix it or part it out?
whats it worth?
its pretty complete exept a taillight

It's got bad rings and/or valve seals. The problem with the KLT's is that parts are hard to come by. I'd probably part it out, especially if it's already in rough shape. That's what I ended up doing with my KLT200 when it did the same thing.
