Opinions on a 400ex

I am selling my 250sx to get one. They have always been my favorite bike since I got serious in riding. What do you guys think of them?

I love mine I'll see it to you for $3,000 its a 2004. I'll sell it not beacuse I dont like it I'm just trying to finish my race car. Its been the best all around quad I ever had.

I like them could be a bit lighter, why not look for a 350x?

Great quad, bullit proof. Comfortable, decent power, and excellent handling. If your just gonna recreation ride then it is aperfect quad, if your gonna race you need a 450.

^ What he said. For recreation and sporty trail riding, one of the best you can buy. Endless aftermarket parts, cheap maintenance and parts. BULLET proof!!!

I just bought one today and my first impressions are deffinetly good. I love the close ratio gears. The plastic isnt exactly my style, but there arent really any that look like the kind of quads that I like. Reverse is convenient, but damn, that is one fast reverse, if you dont watch it yourself you could back yourself into something. Overall so far I say it is well worth the $3600 I paid for it. I think they are a good quad for the money.

Good quads.......but I rode one after ridin the Raptor 700, no comparison, but the 400ex is still a good all around bike.
