need pipe

i have a 2004 kfx400 i have had it about a month.
i havent had much time to ride it to notice this but last time i had it out i saw that there was a hole drilled in the head pipe.

im sure im losing power with the hole

what i wanna know is what inner diameter of an aftermarket pipe would be. i have a yoshimura slip on and soudns great but i want to replace the head pipe and i dont have 500$ for a new pipe to do it.
i can make a pipe in my shop out of stainless

i did a google search and didnt come up with much

Is it just a hole on one side or through the whole head pipe ? I would just seal it over w/ JB Weld and put a Pipe Clamp over it, way better than spending money on new pipe. I believe stock head pipes are 2 & 1/4 inch.

hang around z400 central.com I have one but the previous owner cut it in half to get it off. most people don;t even bother selling there stock systems they go for 10-20.00 on ebay pretty frequently.
