Rode a 200x.. never going back to the 125m

just WOW.... i finally got to ride my dad's 200x and man does that thing GO! my 125m made me angry... the clutch kept kicking out and i ended up tearing up 2nd gear.. it clicks in 2nd now.. so i got mad and used my dads.. manual clutches are the way to go.. i could not imagine how much more power that 200x had over the 125m.... it just amazed me....

by the way.... does anyone know what might be wrong with my 125m??.. with the clicking.. its not a constant click.. its a random clicking... no real pattern... any ideas????? it only happens in 2nd... hi and lo.... its an 84 if that helps




and one more question then i'll shut up..... on the 200x... its got all white plastics, red fork boots, and red tank shrouds and headlight... any idea on what year??? cause the sticker is torn in a very inconvenient spot... its a 198 now... lol...

Does it have a round tube frame, or a square? Round is 83-85, and square is 86-86. I love my 200x also!

Yup, I love mine ,too. It's an '86 I got from Brapp, the maniac. About your 125's trans, does it jump out of gear, or just make that noise?

mine jumps out of first and first only. but it only does it once in a while.

mine jumps out of high range when your going up a hill or through rough terrain...... and one day i got so insanely angry that i just grabbed the high-low lever and slammed it in high... and it actually didn't make noise.. until the next time i rode it... i think i might have done it in that time..... oh well.... yeah hmmm square frame i believe.... 200X'S ROCK!!! lol

You think thats a fast 4 stroke, you gotta ride a 350x, they are a whole nother animal. until you get into bigger quads. I was at work (Contractor) and rode my 350x there and the guy who owned the house started talkin to me and i found out he has a 200x that he would sell. lol but still he looked at my 350x and was like holy *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited*, never seen one of them in person before.. i saw you riding it, and i thought my 200x was fast. That thing just looks radical. lol it made my day a little better.

I know what you mean! For me, going from a 200 to a 250 is unreal! I am slowly working my way up the ladder! :beer

I love my 200x also, but can't wait to get a 350x. I have ridden both and the change is unreal. I will still always keep my 200x, because its a good machine, and fun to ride.:naughty:

LOL, me too. I just got it tamed today. I feel alot more comfortable on it now.
I guess it didn't help that it has performance mods on it.
