I almost spit my coffee on my screen when I saw this. Other than that it looks like a nice Tecate.

Should read:
"I bought a new chain for this machine, but did not know how to take the extra links out, so I took my daughters rollers skate and I ......................."

The owner is very serious about the chain NOT rubbing the paint off the swing arm.

He obviously hasnt ridden it much like that, because it wont stay there. You can NOT take up slack on the TOP of the chain with a fixed roller! The full torque of the motor is applied downward on that roller each time you hit the throttle. It will break off after the first ride.

He did do a pretty good job of cleaning it up.

Man you guys are cruel. Why doesn't someone tell him how to run it the right way? If he gets a hand from someone here maybe you'll get an other member. Obviously he already likes 3 wheelers.

Good point... I shouldn't be so quick to bash.. :banned: :lol: It lasted all but a few minutes.
Edit: :eek: Geez, I just realized my contraption is not near as bad as that setup... That wont last long at all.

that tells me he is not very knowledgable with 3 wheelers, or quads or even dirt bikes. anybody in there right mind would know that the chain doesn't go like that. wonder what else he did hs own way!

Looks like he got the idea for that chain tensioner thing from MRP racing, they make downhill mountain bike chain guides, not quite like this one, thiers actually work.
You guys are right, he never rode it after making that contraption or he still had the twist throttle on and would get thrown off in 8 seconds, because that thing would not last more than 5 minutes. :lol: :lol:

Reply I got;
If you look at the geometry a little closer , you would notice that when you sit on the bike the angle changes and when the torque of the chain pulls down it's acting against the swing arm and shock , so except for that your theory is full of holes , thanks for the question.
nope, he's a moron, Im bashing him for that, its unexceptable, lol
