HAha yup, this is back over at Jasper. Its on a Saturday night. Last time the gates opened at 4:00PM. Practice started at 5:00, racing began at 7:00PM. I don't know the time schedule will be exactly the same since they are doing it friday instead of Saturday now but I'd be willing it bet it is.

I got an extra stock swingarm, and I can unbolt my carrier and all the crap right off of mine and put it onto yours. Sprocket and everything, might need to get a different one for the rear though cause its got a 44 on the back now.

rear tires: Walmart lawn mower tires.
Front tire: Bald stock tire, or de-knobbie a tire with a hot knife

Do they have tire restrictions or something there? If not, you dont really need to worry about what you are running. If you have your own class, youll just be competing against each other, so why worry about being tricked out for flat track? Bring a few buddies with similar trail setup to your own, and you have some good even competition!

98% of us will never be competitive with the fastest guy. Who cares? The fun is finding at least one guy you are competitive with, and forget about where in the pack this battle actually takes place.

Dont know of anyone with a trail setup. Plus, Id never flat track on nobbies. Ive had some close calls just doing donuts, couldnt imagine at 20mph or whatever...

the main guy said the track is super hard so worn down nobbies would be ok, so..
but you also dotn want to run hard new nobies either as there are other people racing out there, and if you mess up the track for them Im sure they woul;d get pissed espiacailly the points leaders in quads and carts if there out there

I just found out Rath racing got in touch with hoosier and had them do a run of rears in 9" instead of the normal 10". Mine just came in that I'm putting on my hipers tonight. You may be able to talk them into doing a run of 11". I know it would make it alot easyer for some of the trike guys to get into it if they could just replace a tire.

The other option is to switch your front hub over to a Tri-Z hub. With the 12" rim you can get all sorts of front tires. Car tires, Turf tires, etc.

I had thought about one of those buffed tires but they are so thin I wasn't sure about how it would feel on the sticky clay.
