Black 250R plastics.

I have found the rear and front fenders, and the scoops, all from Maier, but where can I get a black gas tank? I have a red plastic one on it now, would Fusion paint look ok if I paited it black? Does it come glossy looking like the plastics do so they match?

man,everyone is building black r's.i'm gonna have to switch it up next year.

all you do,is call service honda,and order a tank.they say passion red,but will arrive black.if you by chance get a red one,let em know,i'll buy it for half the cost,and give you my black one,lol.good luck

yes clark has black tanks, service honda tanks are black, since when? are they more than a clark tank?hmmmm... fusion paint will not work on the plastic tank since its polythylene, wich is a breathable plastic the fumes of the gas permiat the tank and bubble up the paint, I have had decent luck with spraying a water based sealer parimer on it and then painting, its holding up decent except weher i have ripped it up lol

That's a very good price on the red one. See if he can get a black one for that.

they are kind of a matte finish. If I can ever figure out a way to mount up this short track tank without the special brackets I can probably turn loose of the stock black one I have on the flat tracker now.

They still look decent actually. Better than a bad or scratched up paint job. :p

Looks glossy in this pic. That's what a little armor all will do for you. :D
